Love is in the Hair
As a hairstylist, my job is to help you maintain the integrity of your hair.
Whether it's helping you create an at home hair regimen, or hosting a few styling sessions, we will work together as a team.
Below I will be talking about how to create shine to achieve your best look before starting your day.
Try Argon Oil or Moroccan Oil
Yes I know, the word Oil can sound scary, but if it is used correctly, which I will talk about today, you can avoid the unwanted greasy look.
Along with creating shine, it also helps moisturize the hair, helping to smooth out the dry split ends and frizz.
You can use the oil as a thermal protectant on wet hair before styling, or on dry hair for a more finished touch.
How to properly use an oil-
Start by pouring a pea size amount in the palm of your hand, and gently rub together between the two like lotion. Begin at the ends of your hair working your way up, using mostly your finger tips and the palms of your hands lightly. Keep working the product through until you have little to none left.
You Are What You Eat
I am no health care professional, but I do know that your whole body reflects on what you eat and drink, your hair and skin included.
Clean eating and exercise can have a huge role in the life of your hair!
Proteins such as salmon, eggs, and nuts are a great source of vitamins and omega 3's, and also contain biotin (which many people take in supplement form.)
Something as easy as incorporating a few new meals and snacks can make the world of difference when it comes to your hair.

Head Massage
Although you may not believe it, head massages stimulate blood flow in which can help it grow, prevent hair loss, and create natural shine.
If you can't con your partner into giving you one, (although it's a wonderful excuse), you can gently give yourself one using your finger tips on the back of your neck or behind your ears.
As your conditioner is processing in the shower, throw in a quick minute or two head massage to increase blood flow to the hair follicles. The pressure applied by massage opens up the blood vessels increasing flow and circulation.
